Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Your video title is making waves in my personal life. Im a millennial myself, but I work for a living. Due to recent events in my personal circle, "A cleaning up" is happening. God bless you and yours. Youre doing the Lord's work in ways you dont even know. I love your humor though. And I admire your self control. Cant wait to get back in the area. I left the farm in 1984, became a Chiropractor in 1991 and have been in practice for 30 years...the INSTANT you said "rotten soybeans" I could smell it as if I had just stepped in a pile of them. There are some things you NEVER get out of your head. I farmed in Northwest Iowa and I can appreciate the weather you have been having during harvest and the trouble you had with the air cart albeit our equipment was from the 60's through the 80's. I thoroughly enjoy your videos and compliment you on their quality and content. Keep up the great work!

@Millennial Farmer Hey Zack, this is probably a dumb question from a non-farmer, but why don't farmers plant, fertilize and spray herbicide all in one pass through the field instead of having to do three separate runs through the field? Seems like you would save a lot of time. p.s. Love your videos by the way.

I once threw two rotting beheaded garbage opossums from the tracks onto a pile of rotten soy... it smelled a little better - didn't stink less just smelled better. Rotting soy smells like what would come out the third end of your digestive track if you had motion sickness, norovirus, food poisoning and too much to drink. If you walked into a bathroom where someone was making the sorrow noises from a stall and smelled what rotten soy smells like you'd step back out to call an ambulance then go piss in the cold. I've only smelled one thing worse than rotting soy and I didn't stick around long enough to find out what it was. Rotting soy is the kind of thing that makes you OK with an electrical fire's odor. I've never seen a dog dumb enough to roll in rotting soy. This video is the first time I've seen dogs even go near it.
