Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

I tried Simplisafe- everything was great and just as he says....until I tried to activate the app. After multiple attempts to connect my system to the app, and some calls to Simplisafe, they told me they have trouble with their app on IPhone/Apple products. Simplisafe still handled the return and refund very smoothly though.

you should make a show truck with that 3500

So with the heat tape what you should do is insulate the heat tape with insulation (armor-flex) basically armor-flex is what is wrapped around the freon pipes for your a/c with that outdoor temp so cold the heat tape won't get warm to intern warm up the regulator. Just started watching you great stuff.

I hate level kits... Ya know what nobody does after they level their truck making its cargo capacity half worthless? They don't adjust their headlights. Those things are blinding as crap in mirrors driving down the road. Just as bad as Fords anti-glare high beams and people thinking its okay to leave those on...

I would not level the front of your truck, unless you do some type of suspension upgrade to the rear, like air bags. Every time you go to tow the rear will sit lower than the front and you will look like you have a sissy truck that cant pull anything. If you level and put air bags in then the truck will stay level all the time even when you tow! My 2 cents. The main thing in life is do what make you happy. Love the content! I just recently left the family farm to get a 9-5 and there is nothing I miss more than problem solving and overcoming a day in the life of a farmer. I enjoy living through you and it satisfies a little of the itch to jump in a tractor. God bless!

A 2in rear drop actually levels about all GM 2500+ models better then a 2in front raise. Your get plenty of wheel clearance unless you want to run 37s lol, and don't have to worry about the change of any of your front steering control system angles that will cause damage and earlier wear out.

Ha new pickup, two knipco’s , trip to town to buy more heat tape. New regulator don’t want to purchase to replace defective one two years running 60 bucks - priceless. I know run back to town and buy new kerosene heater, that will fix 4:30 am wake-ups. Sorry, I’m 55, less filters my age.

I tell my customers when the regulators freeze up here in Ohio to just pour hot water on them and they thaw right out. Make sure when you get transport loads in they put methyl alcohol in. it removes moisture in the system that's where your freeze ups normally come from

Zack, what is the most dramatic episode you've experienced on the farm? Mine was on 4th of July. Combining wheat with 1440. Someone drove by a fired a bottle rocket into field, Combining i thought a belt was smoking, swung around combine and seen field was on fire 🔥, tried to outrun fire . No good turning i ran back through fire line, fire trucks driving across field turned their hoses on me driving combine. Never found who set off bottle rocket 🚀.
